Spirit: How much time do we have to find a Valentine? A few more days? Only a few more days!? Then you need to take us outside in our stroller otherwise we'll be Valentineless. Inkee-Bear: Spirit, calm down. Sophee could be your Valentine but she does get mad when you chase her & catch her. You need to slow down. Spirit: Slow down?

Spirit: I don't wanna' panic or nothin' -- but what if they don't come before Valentine's Day? Inkee-Bear: Then you can ask someone in our house to be your Valentine. Spirit: Huh? You mean like Gracee? She stilll hisses at me. Inkee-Bear: No, not Gracee. She's a hissing machine. Remember when the raccoons came to the back door?

Spirit:  Remember the neighbors' cats that come through our back yard? Inkee-Bear: Yes.The beige ones with the brown faces. Spirit: Yes, those are the ones!

Spirit:  What's Valentine's Day? Inkee-Bear:  It's a day to show that you like -- Spirit:  How do I know that?  Inkee-Bear: Sigh.

From my desk chair to yours:  "I think you are paw-some.  If you'll be my valentine, I'lll share my catnip toys with you. You are so write for me.  Besides, we knead each other.  So, will you be my Valentine?  Puh-leeze?

Spirit is deep in REM sleep. Inkee-Bear has moved on, so to speak.  Spirit hasn't noticed cause he's probably dreamin' of askin' his new little outdoor girlfriend to be his Valentine.

We got tired waitin' on Valentine's Day. Valentine-Bear said it would be soon but that might be fake news.  So, we're doin' what all cats do -- cat-nappin' & dreamin' of boxes of treats and who will be --well, who wants to be our Valentine this year.  Spirit, although he's an indoor guy, has been on the look-out for the new, little outdoor girl-cat that looks just like him.

The Two Bears -- Inkee-Bear and Valentine-Bear just hangin' out waitin' for -- you guessed it -- Valentine's Day!

Roses are red

Violets are blue

I'm gonna nap

And get away from this crew.
