Do you get toys for Thanksgiving? I did. Meowmuh says it's a pum-kin or somethin' like that. You know us cats. We have to FULLY inspect everything! And I mean everything. So, I'm movin' this little pum-kin, I'm scratchin' it, I'm groomin' it. Wait. I've got a little groom-chore to do myself. Oh, I almost forgot -- HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all you 2- & 4-legged critters out there!!

Hey Mr.Turkey, what are you doin' in our cat tree? The turkey before you just left. He was little. But you & I -- we're about the same size & we're both very colorful. I've gotta' ask. Can you run fast? Really fast? You sorta' look like a bird -- kind of a weird looking bird. Are you too big to fly into a tree? On top of a roof? To go away? Like disappear? Cause Meowmuh just said it's time to put the turkey in the oven. I'm warnin' ya! Time to disappear, furr shure!

Gracee: Do you see a turkey? Sophee: No. Gracee: Do you hear a turkey? Sophee: No but what does a turkey sound like? Gracee: It must go: 'Gobble, Gobble, Gobble' cause that's what Meowmuh was saying when she said: "Look at the turkey, girls." Sophee: What does a turkey look like? Gracee: I don't know. But Meowmuh told us to look at the turkey so I'm gonna' keep lookin.' Sophee: Me too! (HINT: Girls, girls. Look behind you, it's right behind you. Sigh.)...

Per an article written by Mark Strauss 8/22/2014: "As the US Naval Institute explains: 'It is likely that the ancient Egyptians were the first seafarers to realize the true value of having cats as shipmates. ...Without the presence of cats, a crew might find their ship overrun with rats & mice that eat provisions, chew through ropes & spread disease.' " THIS PIC SHOWS: SHIP'S CAT STRUTTING ALONG THE BARREL OF A 15-INCH GUN ON THE DECK OF THE HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH GALLIPOLI PENINSULA, 1915 (BIBLIOTHEQUE NATIONALE DE FRANCE)

Cats not only ate vermin in the trenches, but also were companions & mascots to the soldiers they served with. Per article written by Mark Strauss 8/22/2014: RE THIS PIC: "ENSCONSED IN AN OPENING IN A SANDBAGGED DUGOUT, A CAT, PROBABLY A MASCOT, LOOKS UP EXPECTANTLY AT THE APPROACH OF AN UNIDENTIFIED SOLDIER. GALLIPOLI PENINSULA, 1915. (AUSTRALIAN WAR MEMORIAL)

Per an article on 8/22/2014 by Bruce Strauss: "Cats were a common sight in the trenches & aboard ships where they hunted mice & rats. Beyond thier 'official' duties, they were also embraced as mascots & pets by the soldiers & sailors with whom they served. An estimated 500,000 cats were dispatched to the trenches where they killed rats & mice; some were also used as gas detectors." THIS PIC IS: "A GUNNER WITH THE REGIMENTAL CAT IN A TRENCH. Spirit: What does 'TEASE' mean? Inkee-Bear: It means to 'tantalize by arousing curiosity.' So, the 'CatTail TEASER' is a purr-dee purr-fect toy for us cats cause, as all 2 & 4-legged critters know, we cats are VERY curious. Yes, indeedy. Spirit: If you don't believe us, just watch the GIF & VIDEO of Gracee & Sophee. Their curiosity has 'em jumpin' & pouncin!! Disclaimer: We received no compensation for posting this product. Meowmuh likes this toy cause there's no parts for us to break off & swallow. It's called THE CatTail TEASER. They come in different colors. I know the girls, Gracee & Sophee, will love it. They're super pouncers & jumpers. The 'Teaser" is 11" long now but extends to 47"! Meowmuh says it's kinda' like an old car antenna that you retracted before you went in a car wash in the old days. That musta' been a long time ago!! A VERY long time ago!!

Spirit: Hey, what's this? Inkee-Bear: Dunno.' Somethin' in a package. You sniff it; I'll lick it. What does it say it is? Spirit: It's upside down! I don't read 'upside down.' Inkee-Bear: You don't read period! Ask Meowmuh -- she got it for us at CatConLA2018. She says it's a toy. If we like it, she'll get more from www.ShopMeoow.com. Oh, now I get it. So,let me get this straight. Halloween's about scary things like ghosts -- skeletons -- flying, cackling witches -- & something else. Gimme' a minute. I'll think of it. You know, what big & little hoomans shout when you open your door on Halloween night. "Trick & Tweet." No, that's not it. "Trick & Treat!" That's what they say. TREATS!! Where are my treats?

BONES? Did you say a hand -- wait -- the bones of a hand are actually hangin' from my collar? My collar? Are you serious? That's not right, that's just plain scary. There must be more to this than meets the eye.

Here's some pawsomly purrfect suggestions: Treats, letting me finish any morsel of food left by the other cats, a nap in the stroller, laser game, no swats or hisses from Gracee, and curling up next to my hooman if & when she ever takes a break or gets on the computer. I'm open to suggestions. Here's a shout-out to all you black felines out there.

I'm watchin' these playoffs & I'm lovin' it! Dodgers are gonna' win! Watch this pitcher wind up & throw that ball to the batter -- 98 mph? Yowl-Yikes. Meowmuh's all nervous but I know they're gonna' win. My cat sixth sense says so. All cats have a sixth sense. Hoomans do sometimes. All I know is that the Dodgers are gonna' win!!! And she was right! Dodgers won!! (click on the Title to see my video)
