I love to nap here -- on the landing on the stairs -- on my fav orange carpet. I just got through playing with my new little brother, Spirit. He is enough to wear out any 2 or 4 legged critter!  There's a time to play & a time to nap. This is my time to nap. Don't ask me what Spirit is doing. Probably bugging Inkee-Bear or Sophee. Do I look like I care?

See me? I'm just a wee kitten here -- just turned 12 weeks old on May 11, 2011. I just arrived in my new furrever home. I have a new big brother but I'm not sure he likes me yet. I just finished dinner & I'm so tired. Change is not what we felines treasure if you know what I mean. So, I'm taking a nap. This is my first nap in my new furrever home.

A Snowman? In California?  Gotta' investigate this! We, as dedicated members of the "Sniff Patrol," actively investigate any anomaly or mysterious thing that enters our house. We certainly don't need investigation training cause sniffing is what we do! It's a skill we're born with, a real talent &, we'll thoroughly investigate this one, furr shure!

It rained all night. It's rained all day. We don't care. Well, at least I don't care. Spirit cares -- he always, & I mean ALWAYS, cares. He wants to go outside in his stroller.

Gracee:  Do you see a turkey?  Sophee:  No. Gracee:  Do you hear a turkey?  Sophee:  No but what does a turkey sound like?

Gracee:  My turn!  Sophee:  MY turn!  Gracee & Sophee:  These dangly things are irresistible! Only problem? Gettin' Meowmuh to dangle/swish it around WHEN we want & as LONG as we want.

Gracee:  I've got it!!  Sophee:  I've got it!!  Gracee: No, I've got it.  Sophee: No, I've got it!!

Gracee:  What's this? Inkee-Bear: A book. Must I explain everything? Sigh. Gracee: Maybe Meowmuh will write a book about us!  Inkee-Bear:  Not about you.

What did Inkee-Bear say? A day for us? For cats? For felines? So, what does it mean for ME? For one thing, I have a furr-ever home. Even though my siblings can be 'disturbing' -- I/we have a home. We're fed &, even when we're bad, we're loved. Meowmuh says that 3.4 million cats enter shelters each year --just in the US. About 1.4 million will be euthanized. Wait, what does euthanized mean?

Phew. All this bill paying plum wore me out. Meowmuh too. We need to take a break. It's cool in here but the temp is in triple digits just outside that window. Yikes. Meowmuh has the right idea.  Hydrate, drink that H2O. Meowmuh keeps her faithful Fiji water bottle right at hand. Don't forget:  HYDRATE! And to you 2 & 4 legged critters, don't leave us outside.
