Meet Spirit
I am Spirit, the youngest, strongest, most intense and active of all the cats in my family. I am a silver Egyptian Mau with black spots weighing in at just less than 13 pounds. I was born in November 2012 in Wichita, Kansas; I flew from there to my forever home in Los Angeles. Life is so exciting, isn’t it? I love meeting people, learning new things and having my tummy tickled. I run all the time….up and down the stairs, through the house and on my new cat wheel. View Spirit's Posts.
I am tail-thumpin' mad!!! My buddies Ken & Fran aren't visiting us this year! They went to another yard or country or somethin' like that & Ken got real sick. He should see our vet. I'm bettin' they'll be here next year, fur shurrr. We're sendin' our most magnanimous 'Get Well' purrs and yowls their way.
There's a lizard outside the door! We can catch it, we won't get lost! We have microchips and safety collars on. Purr-leez? Click on the "Microchip" article to the right.
What if it is two in the afternoon? You want me to move? Wait, I'm still wakin' up. (Yawn) OK, OK. Don't have a hissy fit! Let me finish cleanin' my paws....What?! Leapin' Whiskers!! Did you see that? She didn't even touch the railing!
Something or someone is inside this box, and I'm going to get to the bottom of it. Oh, Sophee? It's you? Sophee is keeping me OUT!! Ok, Ok, I give up. Sophee, you win. Well, I let her win 'cause she's just a girl.
Lovin' the warmth of the TV while perchin' with Sister Sophee...or, as she prefers to be called: Ms. Sophista-Kat. Meomwuh and her friends are used to watching TV between tails and legs.
I watch my silly sisters and brothers below playing their "CAT-ching the Laser" game.
Meowmuh stopped taking the clothes out of the dryer to answer the phone. I jumped into the dryer to check it out. It's soft, warm and sooo comfy in here...I can't keep my eyes open.
The battle was lost, but the war rages on.
We're nursing Meowmuh back to good health. When she gets sick, we get worried.
It is early morning when I am put in my brand new tan carrier lined with a gold, leopard-spotted blanket. Am I going back to the vet to get another shot? No, no vet yet. But I have been in this carrier all day....from Wichita, Kansas to Dallas, Texas and now to Los Angeles.
