Know who my dad is? Mr. Kool-Kat. Know who else is Mr. Kool-Kat's dad? Inkee-Bear. Obviously Inkee-Bear & I don't look alike but we're alike. See our gold eyes? We both LOVE to play. I look like my mom. She is cinnamon-gold & white. My black fur comes from my dad. Cool, huh?  I mean, kool, huh? Oh, wanna' give a special Happy Dad's Day yowl to my hooman Uncle John!

If you can't see this video, click on the above Title.  We're just finishing up our exploring. Gracee found the toys. "Gracee, hurry up before Meowmuh catches us. Get those cat toys outta' there so we can play with 'em." Can you smell that catnip? Makes me more wild & crazy than usual, if you know what I mean. "Hurry, Gracee!  Meowmuh's coming downstairs!!"

Gracee found our cat toys!! Meowmuh put them in a zippered pocket. Gracee's gonna' dig 'em out.  Gracee, are there enough down there for all of us? Hurry up, Gracee, hurry up!

Sometimes you have to get "into" somethin' to figure out what's goin' on. Somethin' in here smells like catnip. Gracee thinks there are cat toys in here. Know what? I think she's right, for once. Bet she'll sniff & find the toys that Meowmuh brought home for us.

Meowmuh just returned from the BlogPaws and Cat Writers' Conference in South Carolina. She's been gone for 5 whole days!! We helped her pack, now we're gonna' help her unpack. But first, we gotta' check out her luggage.  Meowmuh calls us her "sniff patrol."

What? My mom is Sophee's mom too? You're pullin' my paw, right? We don't look or act alike. That's hard to believe! But that must be why folks are always sayin:' "You look just like your dad!" They say I have his floofy orange coat. But I AM a year older than Sophee. Anyway, wishin' a late happy mom's day to mine, hers & yours. 

I know you'll have a hard time believing this cause Gracee & don't look or act alike but we have one BIG thing in common. We have the same Mom!! I look like my mom. But Gracee?  Well--see for yourself in the next post. 

Play, watch out the windows 'n doors, eat, & sleep. So far today, I played, I watched, I ate & now I sleep. It's what cats do. We sleep 16 - 18 hours/day. All of that twistin' & turnin' playin' "Circles" plum wore me out, if you know what I mean. I couldn't do one more circle 'round that track so I "crashed," guess you can see that. They don't call me Gracee "Fast Paws" for nothin.' First I spin the ball to the right, then to the left, then stop it, & spin it again. See how fast that little ball flies around the track? I spin that little thing 'round & 'round 'til I'm too pooped to pop, so to speak. 

OK OK. I've made peace with this little piñata. He can stay in the cat tree for now. He says he's lonely. He came from Dino's Discount Party Supply--that super party store in San Fernando. Meowmuh says Dino's has everything & they are very nice. Happy Cinco Day to all you two & four- legged critters out there. 

Would you take a look at this piñata? Take a look at those ears. He has really long red ears!  I asked him: "Where are the treats? You know, you're supposed to be filled with treats, catnip & cat-toys. What kind of a Cinco de Mayo piñata are you anyway? You're supposed to be stuffed with surprises!"

You've got to be kidding, right?. No, I will not let you put that sombrero on me.  I'll shake it off. You know I will.  No one can cover MY ears!! True, the sombrero is very pretty & colorful but so am I. For me and for probably many other four-legged critters, looking at it is pawsomely more fun than wearing it. Fur shure. 

SPIRIT:  Do you hear that? TATATA-ta -- It's a merry-ah-?  INKEE:  Mariachi band. SPIRIT:  I knew that. Wanna' dance?  INKEE:  No, but you can.  While you're at it, why don't you mind your manners & wish everyone a Happy Cinco de Mayo?  SPIRIT: A what? OK. Happy Cinco de Meowo! INKEE:  Close enough. Sigh. 

I was watching Meowmuh & Jeff, our web designer (charlescreative.com), work on their computers. They were doing updates, new stuff & I don't know what all. My Kitty Wave Lounger (PetFlow.com) was too comfy & their tech talk was above my paygrade if you know what I mean. Musta' drifed off 'cause Jeff caught me, as he says, "resting my chin."

What time is it anyway? Whatever time it is, we know it's time for you to be in bed!! We've been waiting and waiting and waiting. Look'it Spirit, he can't even get his eyes open let alone keep 'em open! Put that computer to sleep so we can all sleep. We thank you very meowuch.

These birds are chirpin' & buildin' their nests! I wrote a Haiku poem about them. Haiku poems are 3 lines long: 1st line-5 syllables, 7 for the 2nd line and 5 for the 3rd line.

Industrious birds

Build spring-nests in eaves despite

Cats' ceaseless chatter.

Did U know that April 17 was National Haiku Poetry Day?  So, while we were tryin' to bird-watch and after a lot of hissing & swatting, we wrote our own Haiku poem:

Springs' renewal brings

Nest building in eaves despite

Cats' wanton warnings.

What's wrong with this picture? I'll tell ya'-- these goofy bunny ears, that's what. I don't look like a bunny, I don't feel like a bunny & I don't sound like a bunny--whatever that is. I'm just gonna' take a nap, a cat nap, a bunny nap--whatever. Wishin' you baskets brimmin' with Easter goodies, cavities & calories.
