They can't find me! They never will. Spirit & Inkee-Bear can sniff & snuff all they want. They can't see me but I can see them through my porthole. That makes me one happy kitty. Purr, purrr, purrrr, purrrrr.

I see you, do you see me? I'm a pretty big guy but this is a pretty big bag. Purrfect fur me. Our hooman got these from folks that she met at last year's CatConLA.

Here's those big bags I've been talking about. You can not only get in them & look out through the peep holes but you can hide -- disappear in them. That's what cats do. Inkee-Bear loves them too as you'll see in the next pics. For me, bags mean one thing -- actually two things -- hide and ride. Our hooman is going to say meow to the cat toy maker from ShopMeow.com.

I want to go to CATCONLA. Know why? They have some of the coolest toys!! Our fav toys are ShopMeow.com 's cat-tail teaser AND their big bags for us to hide and ride in. My hooman gives me bag rides. I get in the bag, nestle down and she carries me to --- who knows where? Your guess is as good as mine. It might be from the kitchen to the living room, from the dining room to the exercise room. Wish she'd hurry up & finish this computer thing -- I'm meowin' fur another ride!

Yes, yes, yes. It's that time of year again! Our hooman is going to that CatConLA -- June 29 and 30 -- at the Pasadena Convention Center. She's not taking us -- it's against the rules. Rules, rules, rules! There will be kitties & cats there to adopt; there will be zillions of vendors selling everything cat -- jewelery, toys for cats, toys for hoomans, cat trees, cat exercise wheels, cat clothes, fountains, cat food, cat food bowls, cat litter -- basically, everything by, for and about cats will be there. Hope you can be there too!

I'm doing my own personal inspection of this kit. Our hooman has an Emergency List. She used it during the mandatory evacuations for the Creek Fire in December 2017. The winds blew so hard that the flames raced towards our house & pelted us with big, hot embers! Our hooman had time to put important stuff in the car. Some people didn't. The most important stuff, our hooman said, was us -- our carriers, our food, our litter. We had to live away from our house for 5 days. Other than soot, our house survived. It was good to have a home to come home to!

You caught us investigating our Emergency Disaster & First Aid Kit. Our hooman took a Pet First Aid class from Denise Fleck @ petsafetycrusader.com. You can see her classes on your computer. So, if we get hurt in a disaster, we will be taken care of. We have never been in an earthquake but our hooman was in a really bad one. Hoomans & animals were hurt. We weren't around then - it was a long time ago but our hooman has never forgotten it. She says she hopes there won't be another but she is prepared.

June is National Pet Preparedness Month. What do we need to prepare for? Disasters. Hurricane - Flood - Tornado - Earthquake - Fire. Earthquakes & fires are what we prepare for. Our hooman stocks up on bottled water in the event of an earthquake. You can see that I'm helping by sitting in the Fiji bottled water box. She stocks our dry and canned food, litter and food for herself. And she keeps gas in the car in case we have to evacuate.

Inkee-Bear and I have the same Dad. He told you his name -- Mr. Kool Kat. And Inkee thinks he's Kool too -- just like his dad. Do-dah, do-dah. I am just lil' ol' me. I do not consider myself cool or kool or any of that. But I do love to play, love to get brushed, love to get petted, love attention -- just like most cats on this planet. With the exception of Gracee. She does NOT like to be brushed. Hissss. Growl. Anyway, what was I gonna' say? Oh, yeah. Happy Dad's Day and many, many meowr!

Paws up for all you Dads out there! Today is your day. Sophee and I have the same Dad -- Mr. Kool Kat. I know you're gonna' laugh, but I'm just like him. A veritable 'chip-off-the-block' so to speak -- too Kool for words. Now that I think of it, I should have been named Mr. Kool Kat's Kid. I will schedule a discussion with my hooman about that. Meanwhile -- have a pawsomely purrfect Dad's Day!

Check out the new neon Cat wall art from our Cat Lady Box. This is Mom’s fav color. But it’s a wee bit bleary. Sorry ‘bout that. We don’t take pics of neon signs very often so maybe our camera doesn’t like neon. But we do. A purple neon cat is pretty cool don’t you think?

This is my new beach towel! It’s from the Cat Lady Box. In case you haven’t noticed, the towel matches my red-orange-gold fur. No one can use it except me. It’s mine. Inkee-Bear tried to claim it but I hissed so he split.

Another Cat Writers' Conference! Same as last year! At least they always give her new toys and treats to bring home to us. Our hooman said there was enough rain in St. Louis that the Mississippi River was flooding near the Hotel where her Conference was. I'm not sure what 'flooding' means but I think the water causes problems for all critters. Anyway, I love this toy. It makes a crinkly noise when I attack it. And you know me, attack, attack. Thanks, Cat Writers Association (CWA) & all of their super sponsors for all the goodies. Purrr, purrr.

I was not prepared to be left in charge of our house AND my siblings last month! For five whole days! I know Gracee is the oldest but I'm second oldest and I'm a guy and I'm bigger so I should be in charge. I'm all for our hooman learning more about cats at these conferences. That's good for us -- and other cats too. But our lives were hard without her because, you know, life was different. I had to watch everything. I'm still doin' that as you can clearly see in this pic. Watchin', always watchin.

Our hooman was gone for 5 whole days in May! Can you believe it? Now that she's home, it's time for her to get with the routine. You know -- feed us, brush us, play with us, cuddle with us, put Spirit outside in his stroller, clean the litter boxes, vacuum up our hair and then unpack. And, when doing the laundry, please do our blankies too. I'll be perched here just in case reminders are needed. Oh, yeah, welcome home!

Our hooman left us last month. She went to St. Louis, Missouri for another one of those cat conferences. We're wondering why she doesn't take us. We're cats. We'd be able to help. Well, I don't know about Spirit. He'd probably act crazy. But we Scottish Folds are quieter and good to go. With one exception, I don't want to be in the same carrier or stroller as Inkee-Bear.
