SEE WHAT I MEAN?
by Sophee on Feb 2 2019 Add Comment

See what I mean?  Just like I've been tellin' ya'!  Spirit had to get in the mix & head butt me! Pisses me off! I let him know it too! I haven't even had a chance to turn around to see what a ram looks like. Maybe Spirit should become a mascot for the Ram team because all he does is ram -- all day, all night. Our hooman teaches him manners -- oh, he has 'em. But he's an obsessive rammer! And he has a hard head in more ways than one if you get my drift.  Hisss! Yowl!

A LOS ANGELES RAM?
by Sophee on Feb 2 2019 Add Comment

What's a ram? An animal that runs into things deliberately? You mean like Spirit? He has such a hard head & he's always rammin' it into our hooman AND us! It's supposed to be gentle -- to show affection -- we call it a head butt.  Maybe his problem (really it's our problem) is that when he head butts at 80 MPH that it's a 'ram' & not a 'butt' if you know what I mean. Wanna' know my fav thing to do? Watch sports on TV -- football, baseball, soccer, basketball, skating -- I'll be watchin' the Kitten & Hooman Bowls on Sunday.

SO -- THIS IS A RAM?
by Inkee-Bear on Feb 2 2019 Add Comment

That's a ram? What big ears you have, Mr. Ram. Those are horns? They're hard? So when they ram someone or something it really hurts? Yikes. Then they should win. They're playing the Patriots? Isn't that an automated surface-to-air missle? Our cat-tionary says the Patriots detect & intercept incoming missles/aircraft & probably footballs!  So, the Patriots will try to intercept those footballs. But the Rams will ram 'em & get the ball. We live in Los Angeles so we're cat-fans for the Rams. GO RAMS!

WHAT DID YOU SAY IS BEHIND ME?
by Inkee-Bear on Feb 2 2019 Add Comment

What did you say?  There's a what behind me? A ram? What's a ram? An animal? Never heard of it before. A Los Angeles ram? Are those different from Colorado rams? You've confused me. Lemme' see what this ram thing is behind me.

R U READY 4 KITTEN BOWL 2019?
by Gracee on Feb 2 2019 Add Comment

This is me in October 2011 -- I was just a wee one if you know what I mean. I could've competed in Kitten Bowl 2012 but nobody told me about it. I'll be 8 years old soon. So, I can't compete but we'll be watching the KITTEN BOWL on the Hallmark Channel right before the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 3. Cats are great cat'letes 'cause we leap, snag, pounce, tackle, climb (goal posts) & run fast -- & I mean real fast. Check your listings -- it's usually on an hour or two before the hoomans compete in their Bowl.

It's been a long day. Sigh. Found my fav bag -- sniffed it -- rolled 'n groomed on it -- now it's time to say good night. Bless my sibs, my hooman & you; love all of them including you. Promise you'll sleep tight all night &, whatever you do, don't let the bed bugs bite.

SPIRIT'S ROLLIN' OVER HAPPY! (If you can't see this video, CLICK HERE)
by Spirit on Jan 25 2019 Add Comment

Dunno' what you do when you're happy but I roll 'n roll 'n groom 'n roll. My hooman says:  "Spirit's happy -- he's rollin'. It's true! Why am I so happy? It's cause I found my fav bag, that's why. My hooman takes it to her classes. I love givin' it the sniff-all-over test as soon as she brings it home -- it has the most intriguing scents. Love this bag!  Bet you already figured that one out, huh?

FOUND IT! FINALLY!
by Spirit on Jan 25 2019 Add Comment

Found it! And it was just lyin' here on the floor all by itself!  This is my fav bag -- my Black Cat bag. It's our hooman's fav bag too. This bag carries a notebook & pen to our hooman's writing classes. Furr shure everyone in the class knows about us & knows she loves cats. Yes, there is a black cat on the bag & Inkee-Bear is the black sheep -- I mean cat, in this household. Now that I found it, I'm just gonna' stay with it furr -- well, however long I want to if you know what I mean.

A TUNNEL NAP
by Gracee on Jan 19 2019 Add Comment

I love sleeping here too cause my siblings can't see me. But I have to keep track of my hooman. My tunnel is just outside my hooman's bedroom. I have to watch her sleeping -- or catnapping. She takes little catnaps during the day sometimes -- just like we do. Yes, I fell asleep watching her. But you know how we felines are -- we sleep with one eye just slightly open -- I/we don't miss a thing!  Ever!

A CHIN ON THE RAILING NAP SPOT
by Gracee on Jan 19 2019 Add Comment

Yup. You guessed it. Catnapping again. I was keeping my eye on my hooman downstairs. But I couldn't keep my eyes open. I'm still on my fav catnapping place -- on our stair landing -- & still on my fav orange carpet. I can track my hooman & my 4-legged siblings as they walk past me or as they go up & down the stairs. I'm the oldest so it's my job to keep track of everyone & everything. That's enough to give any self-respecting feline a tummy ache, if you know what I mean.

THE ORANGE CARPET NAP SPOT
by Gracee on Jan 19 2019 Add Comment

I love to nap here -- on the landing on the stairs -- on my fav orange carpet. I just got through playing with my new little brother, Spirit. He is enough to wear out any 2 or 4 legged critter!  There's a time to play & a time to nap. This is my time to nap. Don't ask me what Spirit is doing. Probably bugging Inkee-Bear or Sophee. Do I look like I care?

A MOUSEPAD-LAPTOP CATNAP
by Gracee on Jan 19 2019 Add Comment

See me? I'm just a wee kitten here -- just turned 12 weeks old on May 11, 2011. I just arrived in my new furrever home. I have a new big brother but I'm not sure he likes me yet. I just finished dinner & I'm so tired. Change is not what we felines treasure if you know what I mean. So, I'm taking a nap. This is my first nap in my new furrever home.  I think I found a good place -- right next to my hoomon on her mousepad on top of her laptop. It's been a very long day.

A SOLO NAP
by Inkee-Bear on Jan 12 2019 Add Comment

Finally. In case you haven't noticed, I finally have my bed to myself. I guess I should acknowledge that it's actually our hooman's bed but she let's us sleep on it -- sometimes with her in it. There are, however, rules when she's in it:  No play-fighting, no flying up the stairs ending in a long leap through her bedroom door landing on her, no licking or pawing her while she's asleep (we can tell), no meowing/asking her to play with the toy that we put on her bed -- think that's about it. Time to nap. Solo nap, that is.

YIN & YANG SYMBOL?
by Inkee-Bear, Spirit on Jan 12 2019 Add Comment

Jeff, our webdesigner, charlescreative.com, thinks our pic resembles the Chinese symbol for Yin & Yang. Yin & Yang has been a fundamental concept in Chinese philosopy & culture since before the 3rd century BCE. The principal of Yin & Yang is that all things in the natural world are inseparable & contradictory opposites such as male - female, light - darkness & old - young. This principle creates balance.

THE SIBLING BOOKENDS
by Sophee, Spirit on Jan 12 2019 Add Comment

They call us the 'Sibling Bookends'-- or the 'Bookend Siblings.' We frequently 'end' up on our catwalk together.  From up here, we have choices. We can either watch our hooman, in this case our hooman turned photographer inside our house & below us or the birds, bees & trees outside our house through the window behind us. Which would you choose?

FEEL THAT CUBAN BEAT? (If you can't see this video, CLICK HERE)
by Inkee-Bear, Spirit on Jan 4 2019 Add Comment

Inkee-Bear:  Fire up that new CD! Gotta’ see what that ‘beat’ thing is. Our hooman loves Cuba's music. Spirit:  More than she loves me?  Inkee-Bear:  Probably. Good grief. She wants to know if we feel the beat, you know -- do we ‘get down’ with it. You have to LISTEN -- pay attention. Spirit:  Well, listening isn't my thing if you know what I mean. Playin' & meowin’ — those are MY things.  Inkee-Bear:  I know. Oh, how well we ALL know. Sigh.

THE CUBAN BEAT
by Inkee-Bear on Jan 4 2019 Add Comment

A new CD? For us? A late Christmas gift? A New Year’s gift? Our hooman thinks that music is always a good way to start any New Year. She went to Cuba a few years ago & fell in love with the music. Now she's asking us to listen to Cuban music, to see if we ‘feel’ it -- you know -- the beat. Can we feel the beat?  Me, personally, I don't know what a beat is. We'll have to see. So, watch us in our video "Feel That Cuban Beat?" -- & see if we ‘feel’ it.

IS IT THE NEW YEAR YET?
by Spirit on Dec 29 2018 Add Comment

No, I don't want to get up. No, don't turn on the TV. I don't want to watch the Rose Parade. I need more, you know, sleep. Whether it is or isn't New Years yet, I/we wish all you 2 & 4-legged critters out there -- a purrfectly, meowvelous, absolutely pawsome Happy, Healthy & Productive New Year!!  Happy 2019!!
