Sophee

Meet Sophee

I am Sophee; my registered name is Ms. Sophista-Kat. I am a calico, straight-eared Scottish Fold born in January 2012. I have the same father as Inkee-Bear and the same mother as Gracee. I might be the smallest but I have the loudest purr…I weigh less than 7 pounds. I love to play and let all of the other cats groom me. View Sophee's Posts.

AN EASTER BUNNY CUDDLE

Easter? Well, it's not every day that I get to cuddle with an Easter Bunny like Mr. Gray here. Did you check out his whiskers? Good grief. At least they're soft. And those ears -- they're too big! Glad my ears aren't that big. Bet he gets a crick in his neck from hoppin' with those humungous, gynormous ears. Maybe they're really antennas.

TIME TO CELEBRATE NATIONAL SIBLINGS' DAY!

SOPHEE:  Gracee, what are you looking for? GRACEE:  More siblings. SOPHEE:  Why? Sometimes you act like you don't like the ones you have!  GRACEE:  That's precisely why I'm looking! I want a little brother that stays little. SOPHEE:  Little cats always get big & guy cats are always bigger than girl cats.

WHAT'S NATIONAL SIBLINGS DAY?

INKEE-BEAR:  Exactly what is National Siblings' Day?  I like to paw-tee but I gotta' know fur what!  SOPHEE:  I know what it is. It's the day when we celebrate being together, in our house, with our hooman. It's who we play with, who we cuddle with, who we don't play with, who we can't cuddle with. Understand?  INKEE-BEAR:  I get it.

SOPHEE'S AWARD INSPECTION

What's this? An award? For us? The Cat Authors? -- & our hooman?  Yowl!  Time for a pawsome celebration! We tell our hooman what we think. Sometimes we show her what we do -- dopey or serious -- & she puts it on our blog. Congrats too to all the other 'Certificate of Excellence' winners!

WOMEN'S DAY -- OUR DAY!

March 8 - Friday is International Women's Day 2019!  Women are celebrating across the world, across this planet -- maybe beyond. This year's campaign theme is: Balance for Better. What am I doing right now? I'm 'balancing' on an overhead beam -- watching my world from up here. As every agile feline knows -- The Better you Balance, the Better your World!

SOPHEE INVESTIGATES VALENTINE’S DAY

What’s with these flying things? Bah-loons? They keep bouncing & moving. Like every time the heat comes on,  they get blown around. They’re dancin’ on the ceilin’ if you know what I mean. Anyhoo — may you too have bah-loons that dance on this, your Valentine’s Day!!

SO THAT'S A RAM!

Yikes! That's a ram? A male Bighorn Sheep? Not a mountain goat. Those things on their heads -- horns -- can weigh up to 30 lbs? They can jump 20 feet? They can weigh up to 300 pounds? They can balance on a 2 inch rock ledge in the Rocky Mountains? The males fight for dominance by ramming each other? At speeds up to 20 MPH? Maybe that's what Spirit is doing.

SEE WHAT I MEAN?

See what I mean?  Just like I've been tellin' ya'!  Spirit had to get in the mix & head butt me! Pisses me off! I let him know it too! I haven't even had a chance to turn around to see what a ram looks like. Maybe Spirit should become a mascot for the Ram team because all he does is ram -- all day, all night. Our hooman teaches him manners -- oh, he has 'em.

A LOS ANGELES RAM?

What's a ram? An animal that runs into things deliberately? You mean like Spirit? He has such a hard head & he's always rammin' it into our hooman AND us! It's supposed to be gentle -- to show affection -- we call it a head butt.  Maybe his problem (really it's our problem) is that when he head butts at 80 MPH that it's a 'ram' & not a 'butt' if you know what I mean.
